A bit about me.
I believe that we can use ethical and people-centred business to change the world. I am a social entrepreneur and have been an award-winning LGBTQ advocate for over 9 years. I'm the Co-founder of LGBTQ non-profit B-GLAD and the founder of the award-winning company Pink Coconuts Inc. I am creating an inclusive world where LGBTQ people can travel, explore and live their lives without limits. I'm excited to share my journey with you.

Donnya is the CEO and Founder of Pink Coconuts - a platform that connects LGBTQ travellers with LGBTQ friendly accommodation, tours and activities across the world while empowering LGBTQ local LGBTQ lives. She was given the prestigious Queen's Young Leader Award by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace for her work as an LGBTQ Caribbean Advocate and the co-founder of B-GLAD. She has spoken at forums like TEDx Bridgetown, Heineken's National Conference, UK Black Pride, One Young World, Human Rights Campaign, Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Malta & London, The Economist in New York, International Gay and Lesbian Association Conference in New Zealand In 2017 she became a Watson University Scholar where she studied Social Entrepreneurship in Boulder, Colorado. In 2019, Donnya was named the winner of the Sustainable Development Goal 10 Challenge by One Young World - a world wide competition which saw thousands of entries from all over the world.
